RotarACT

is an International organization for youths of the age group 18-30 years is steadfast with a desire to bring about a change in the society by inculcating in the youth the attitude of selfless service and making them aware of the social issues which are treated with indifference by many. With a freedom of choosing one’s interested avenue among community service, professional development, club service and international service the participants and the members not only improve themselves but also make a wide network of friends.
Rotaract Club Of Mumbai Ghatkopar is at the apex of the Rotaract revolution and with members with a fortitude to take the club to higher realms of success there is a lot of sweetness for us to taste in the near future. The club is popularly known as RCMG and the members are given a common appellation of ROARERSS.

Goals of ROTARACT:

• To develop professional and leadership skills.
• To emphasize respect for the rights of others based on recognition of the worth of each individual.
• To recognize the dignity and value of all useful occupations as opportunities to serve.
• To recognize, practice and promote ethical standards as leadership qualities and vocational responsibilities.
• To develop knowledge and understanding of the needs, problem and opportunities in community and worldwide.
• To provide opportunities for personal and group activities to serve the community and promote international understanding and goodwill to all people.

Started in the year 2004, it has ameliorated year by year under various adroit Presidents and we continue to do so in the coming years. Our projects and involvement with and for the society is only a testimony of our codes and beliefs as a unit striving for improvement. Be it visiting the orphanage, schools for mentally challenged children or involving the local underprivileged children in fun and learning activities brings immense satisfaction and pleasure to us looking at those smiling faces who deserve as much love, gratification and attention as you and me.
We do not stop with the blood donation camps, health and dental check ups but we also equally thrive in imbibing the immense knowledge around us with professional development projects. We go global with our International service projects such as being a host to the members of Rotaract club of Macau, Great Britain e exchange of ideas, cultures or just the good will among international Rotaract clubs we take pride in our active participation internationally.
Last but not the least our exhilarating club service team makes sure that we to have loads of fun and team bonding activities by celebrating various days like friendship days, independence days or just by organizing trips to the near and far scintillating hill tops and destinations. We make sure our theme for the year “Strengthening links and building bonds” reflects in each of our project by encouraging active participation by each and every member and making sure they are enjoying their time in the club.
