6. Open discussion
I VOTE
Now a days voting has also become as good a necessity just like roti kapda aur makan. Yes,to satisfy these basic requirements one needs to vote and elect a good government who shall be citizen friendly and help India march towards progress. Moreover, in this process of voting participation of youth is essential. ROTARACT DIST. 3140 provided the enthusiastic bunch of young rotaractors with a platform to spread awareness about voting and realize its responsibility toward its own motherland. ROTARACT I-VOTE movement ignited the youth's conscience by providing them with required forms for registration and seven easy steps to register which left them with no other option but to fulfill their moral responsibility. This movement widened its horizons by not only targeting youth but also the corporate like Godrej, Larsen and Toubro, Bajaj Allianz, Fedex, Blue Dart, etc.
Thus, now we await for much more responsible elections.
4 days prior to the Election Day in Mumbai, bookmarks and posters were distributed in the Chembur, Ghatkopar and Mulund by RCMG. The bookmarks and posters created awareness among the youth to caste their vote. In addition, they provided websites where information about the various candidates can be obtained.
